Practical Exercises Of Self Transformation Through The Power Of Meditation

1. Write of an experience of how the power of meditation gave you mental and physical energy, so you got more work done in less the time.

2. Write of your experience of how the power of meditation enables you to churn (think) spiritual knowledge (e.g. what is shared in each day’s “Positive Reflection”) deeply and change a situation.

3. From your space in silence, observe other souls in a detached way and relate that to the knowledge of this drama - the game of life i.e. every soul is playing his accurate role via the physical body. I need to remain non-judgemental. Make a special effort to remain angelic all day. Speak sweetly, and only when necessary and spread your light to all around. Write down your experience.

4. Experience how the power of meditation makes situations and problems very light. It enables me to enjoy the arts...the art of managing people, the art of leisure, of being busy etc. Write your experience.

5. Practice being a point, a conscious point of light situated at the centre of the forehead in a second, a minute an hour, after every each hour throughout the day. Pay attention to your facial expressions - am I expressing impatience or irritability? Change that to kindness when you realize that every thought has an impact on the self and others. Write your experience.

6. Economize on your stock of internal treasures and create more energy by being brief when you speak - then go into silence. Today, every time you speak and act, think: Do I have the Supreme Soul's power in what I'm doing? Write your experience.

7. The power of meditation is a catalyst for good wishes. It enables me to accumulate all the spiritual treasures and then donate them at the appropriate time. Through meditation, questions are dissolved - experience the feeling of contentment it brings. Apply the brake to any negative or wasteful thoughts: then steer the intellect to positivity. Write your experience.

8. Experience how the power of meditation enables you to increase your self- respect i.e. rising above emotions of ego and inferiority complex. It enables me to put a stop on the past and enjoy the present. Write your experience.

9. The power of meditation cancels negative karma and creates calmness. Experience the language of peace - communicate those feelings to others through the eyes. Experience the efficiency in action that peace brings. Write your experience.

10. The power of meditation heals old wounds and opens the heart. It enables you to donate happiness from the thought level right through to the level of action. Through meditation power: waste decreases and divinity or positivity increases. Write your experience.

11. With the power of meditation transform the atmosphere and the attitudes of others. High energy positive vibrations are stronger than low energy negative vibrations. Meditation power heals the world - your vibrations change every molecule. Write your experience.

To find reasons to be happy is to increase happiness.

Projection: When the mind searches for reasons to be sad and sorrowful, even situations with no great significance are seen with a vision of negativity. So there is constantly an expression of words and actions that reflect the need for sympathy and reassurance. On the other hand, when there is the search for happiness, then everything is positive giving happiness..

Solution: When I am happy, I start perceiving everything with that vision. It is like wearing coloured glasses. Whatever colour my glasses are, the whole world is coloured with it. Then, I am no longer able to perceive and recognize negativity and I am able to remain happy with everything.

The Distinction (Difference) Between Human Souls And The Supreme Soul (God)

Human Souls: They take human bodies and experience birth, life and death.
Supreme Soul: Never comes into the cycle of birth and death.

Human Souls:
They are subject to change and the dualities of pleasure and pain, growth and decay, happiness and sorrow.
Supreme Soul: Changeless. The One beyond the above dualities.

Human Souls:
They remember and then forget their original pure nature.
Supreme Soul: God is always the ocean of knowledge; he does not come in the cycle of remembering and forgetting.

Human Souls:
They are seekers of peace and happiness.
Supreme Soul: God is the One whom everyone seeks (longs for). He is the bestower (giver) of peace and happiness to everyone.

Human Souls: They have physical bodies.
Supreme Soul: God's form is incorporeal (point of spiritual energy).

Human Souls: They cannot liberate humanity.
Supreme Soul: God is the uplifter of all.

Human Souls: They become impure through body-consciousness.
Supreme Soul: God is the purifier.

Human Souls: They are caught up by the present, have distorted (misunderstood) knowledge of the past (since they come in the process of birth and rebirth) and no accurate knowledge of the future.
Supreme Soul: God is the knower of the three aspects of time (past, present and future).

Human Souls: They lose their power and become weak.
Supreme Soul: God is the constant and external source of all spiritual power for all human souls.

Human Souls:
They are brothers.
Supreme Soul: God is the Father and Mother.

Human Souls:
They come into greed, lust and attachment.
Supreme Soul: God is bondageless (free), the liberator of all, including the sages, saints, holy teachers and gurus. He doesn’t succumb to the vices.

Human Souls:
They become worshippers.
Supreme Soul: God is ever worthy of being worshipped.

Human Souls:
They have desires based on bodiIy needs, name and fame.
Supreme Soul: God is completely desireless and selfless.

Human Souls: They are takers.
Supreme Soul: God is the giver, He takes nothing.

Every reaction to situations is a reflection of one's own self-respect.

Projection: To the extent that there is a high degree of self-respect, to that extent there is a positive response to even the most negative situations. If there is low self-respect, even the smallest situation brings forth a strong negative reaction. This reaction only makes matters worse.

Solution: When I am able to maintain my own self-respect even in the worst situation, I am able to have a hold, control over these situations. But if I have a low self-respect I continue to blame situations and use them as excuses to feel helpless. So I am not able to do anything about these situations and just continue to have negative feelings.
